How to read this. Every result on this page comes from a published equation that is printed alongside it, together with the range it was fitted over. Where a formula is an empirical curve fit rather than physics, it says so.
Not a substitute for your fabricator. Impedance, plating thickness and copper weight all depend on the actual stackup your board house builds. Ask them for their stackup and controlled-impedance figures before committing a design.
